We all know that as adults it’s hard to find time to get things accomplished, heck I have days when it’s hard for me to even muster up the energy to tie my shoes much less volunteer. And while I always have good intentions on helping out, not all of them are something I follow through with. I know it’s sad, but perhaps you can sympathize with me. News articles document overworked Moms just like us those who want to help but have volunteer burn-out.
I always hear parents complaining about their children’s fundraising efforts as well, “There are so many!”, “Why do they make the kids do this?”, “I’m so over it.” Well, let’s add one more eco-friendly fundraiser to that bunch, how about Virescent. But wait just a minute, Virescent isn’t really your average fundraiser. First off, it doesn’t involve candy, magazines, or wrapping paper, I know you’re thrilled about that!Virescent touts a “frazzle-free” solution that combines stylishly designed, eco-friendly reusable bags along with a unique set of web-based sales and promotional tools essential to running a successful campaign without stress. It’s easy to manage and simple to promote to community supporters.”
Coming from someone who was a Sales Leadership Club member (for those of you who are 30 and older you may remember, sorry I couldn’t find a website for it), Girl Scout, in Softball, Marching Band, sold for school trips, and about a kazillion other things going door-to-door is so overrated, (unless you like that kind of thing).
You can sell traditionally, or Virescent will create a custom, web storefront just for your cause, making it easier to sell, easy to promote, and easy to fund raise. Virescent’s website and web tools will even help you create flyers and handouts personalized for your event. Not only that but their bags are U.S. grown, woven and sewn, and are constructed from organic and recycled cottons. You can personalize the bags with your company/organization logo or work with Virescent to create your own custom bags.
Now about the bag itself, can I just say first impression, how stinking gorgeous this bag is, I have a ton of recyclable bags in my closet and this is by far my favorite. I love the design and the quality too!

I also love the feel of this Hono-loo-loo bag and surprisingly it’s very, very roomy and much to my surprise even came with an inside pocket, love it! I prefer the cotton/canvas feel of my bags over the plastic/vinyl feel, but that’s just my personal preference. And one of my favorite parts about this bag is that it’s big enough to fit all my stuff, (and with two little girls you know I have a lot!), but being 4’10” it’s not too cumbersome.
Part of me wants to create a fundraiser just so I can buy and sell these to all my friends…hmm I know there are some great causes out there!! What would you use Virescent’s fundraising services and products for??
