caseable Phone Cases { Guest Review }

I constantly find myself changing my phone due to the nature of the case. I switch between the case with the best phone protection to the case that looks great.

Are you a cell phone case flip-flopper too?

Those who know me know I am not one for bulky cases. I often opt for slimmer cases because even though bulky cases are great for protection, they are thick and heavy which I find to be an inconvenience. {Not to mention they hurt my hands.}

Despite the reasons I don’t like thick cases, I still find myself not fully content with slimmer cases. While the look of the case is important, there is one common problem with slim cases: protection. If you drop your phone, you want it to be safe from shattering. I’ve dropped my phone because often times slim cases are very slick, to the point where a “death grip” is needed in order to prevent yourself from dropping it. It has been difficult finding a case that meets all the criteria, since one set of pros and cons are often sacrificed for another.

caseable cases have proven me wrong in thinking a case with all these characteristics does not exist.

The look of their cases are unique and will appeal to anyone who is looking to buy one. Because of the vast selection, it took me quite a while to narrow my picks down to just two. I found many that I liked and want to buy. Unfortunately, the website did not have a search bar which made it hard to find a specific kind of case. {Hopefully they will add a search option to make shopping on their site easier.}

Protection in slim cases normally fails to protect the entire phone. caseable cases have a unique texture, unlike any cases I have used. They are soft, but provide just enough traction to have a good grip on your phone without being worried it will slip out of your hand.

Usually the case will cover the left and right sides of the phone, but fall short on the top and bottom of the phone. This case covers more of the bottom and top by curving around it, providing additional protection if dropped. The case doesn’t cover the entire top and bottom of the phone, which some people might not like. I personally think it is better that it doesn’t because it’s easier to remove the case.

Another thing, {that my friend brought to my attention} is that the difference in weight of the phone with and without the case is not noticeable. When I pick up my phone I don’t notice right away, but feel comforted when I realize the case is on my phone.

By buying a caseable case not only are you protecting your phone, but the environment as well. These cases are made out of recycled water bottles, which is a plus in the purchase of one of these cases. While the price is a bit on the higher end, I think the price suits what the case provides. A five-dollar case on Amazon would not come close to the needs I have in a case for my phone as a college student and soon-to-be-teacher.

I would recommend a caseable case if you are looking for a case that will both look great, and give you the protection you are looking for.

Custom Phone and Tablet Cases by CVS/pharmacy – Discount

CVS Phone Cases

Happy Thursday everyone!! I can’t believe this week is almost over, but before it is, I wanted to write you about CVS/pharmacy’s new custom phone and tablet cases, for two reasons.

1. Because I got a sample and it’s so cool I had to share

2. There’s a discount going on right now, but only for a few more days!

Being one of a million Jennifer’s when I get the chance to personalize things I do. From gifts to other people, my girls room decor, clothing, and almost anything I can “snazz-up”. This holds true for my websites too. I love to market my sites when I can because I’m proud of all the work I’ve done and blessed to be where I am in my career. So, even though it was hard for me to choose between featuring pics of my girls or customize for work, I chose to feature my websites. (** After seeing the results though, I think I may ask for one with my kiddos on it for my birthday, hint hint.)

CVS/pharmacy’s photo lab offers customizing for several different brands including, iPhone, iPad, Kindle, Blackberry, Samsung, and the list goes on.

CVS Phone Cases

Choosing images for this project was the most difficult part of the process, the rest was made super easy with a user friendly, step-by-step online program.

CVS 3 Steps

CVS/pharmacy made it easy for me to choose from different photo layouts, for my iPhone 4 I could choose 1, 2, or 3 photos and also for my specific model I was able to choose between a few different case styles. I love that I could choose the placement of my images, and easily move my uploaded images around.

CVS Case Customize

I chose the iPhone Vibe case since it seemed like the more durable choice. CVS/pharmacy ships your case at no additional cost to the CVS location of your choice, making it easy to pick up during your other CVS/pharmacy related errands. I love the smooth finish, and the quality of the photos on my phone case turned out great. The case fits my phone very well and definitely seems like it will hold up to being shuffled around in my diaper bag. I am very pleased with the results and think this would make a great, personalized gift as well.

Here’s mine (ignore the iPhone flash glare):

MommyBKnowsBest Personalize Phone Case

Cases range in price starting at $34.99, and like I mentioned at the beginning of the post, CVS/pharmacy has a great deal on their website for 25% off. Head over to http://www.cvsphoto.com/phone-and-tablet-cases , add your customized phone or tablet case(s) to your shopping cart and upon check out enter the discount code: CASE25 Please note that this promotion ends 9/8/12 so you only have a couple of days to take advantage of this deal.

One big tip for creating your case would be to make sure you use high res images, the better the quality of the original pictures, the better the quality of your case.

My only wish is that someone would create an even more durable personalized phone case, maybe something made of armor, I’m so nervous my phone will get damaged.

What images would you use for your personalized case?

I received a complimentary phone case from CVS/pharmacy in order to test out the product and give you my honest opinions about the product. Besides, how else can I tell you about it if I don’t experience it myself? Your opinions may vary unless you design your phone exactly like mine to advertise my sites. {Just kidding!!!}

Verizon iPhone for Mom and Dad

Verizon iPhone On January 3rd, I talked a little about the iPhone coming to Verizon in this post: http://www.mommybknowsbest.com/new-to-2011/. Now that AT&T’s exclusive contract with Apple’s iPhone is up, guess what……the iPhone will be for sale with Verizon as soon as February 10, 2011. Just in time for Valentine’s Day, good planning Verizon!

The iPhone will be the newest version, the 4G, I currently have the iPod verison, (sans phone capability) I really wish that the iPod had the option to just turn on phone capabilities, but I understand that would boost the cost as well. With a 2 year plan and data pak (required) Verizon is offering the iPhone for $199.99 plus tax. If you are currently a Verizon customer you can reserve your iPhone before they are available to the public using this link: http://ecrm.vzwshop.com/2011_ECRM/consumer/2011_Program_CES/1101_device/?LANGCODE=EN

Personally being a parent I love my iPod because it has so many applications that Miss A can learn from and have fun with too, there are apps to teach her how to draw letters, sound out words, perform match equations and more, plus she’s learning hand-eye-coordination as well as how to use modern technology. I keep her play limited because if I didn’t she’d be on it all day long.

Angry BirdsFor me there are great apps that allow me to create schedules, reminders of important dates we have, check my email from anywhere and even some great recipe apps too, not to mention a few minutes of Angry Birds to give me a little “zone out time” you know what I’m talking about!

I do wish the iPhone was a little cheaper because it would be nice not to have to carry both my iPod and my phone with me, but maybe in time.

What do you think about Verizon getting the iPhone?? Are you excited? Could care less? Would you buy one?
