Lock & Mane Review and Giveaway {CLOSED}

Lock & Mane Review and GiveawayI first heard about Lock & Mane on Twitter and was overwhelmed, (in a good way), at the number of hair care products that they carry. It could be that I’m so out of the loop being a busy mommy, but they have a ton of products I’ve never even heard of. Another thing that amazed me is they have a product for everything from dandruff to dry shampoo to men’s shaving products and more! Read More

Holey Donuts Giveaway {CLOSED}

Holey Donuts Logo GiveawayUnfortunately, I have not had the chance to sample the delicious sounding treats from Holey Donuts.  However when I was on the Weight Watchers weight loss plan I did hear great raves and reviews about Holey Donuts.

I know the words low-fat and donut don’t normally go together, but Holey Donuts has a large variety of mouth-watering flavors with as little as 3 grams of fat and 150 calories per donut. Isn’t that amazing?? Holey Donuts offer assortments or you can select boxes of your favorite flavor.

Expressiva Spotlight Giveaway LogoExpressiva Nursing Wear is great for moms who want to nurse their child discretely and look good in the process. From tops and bottoms, to night wear, and accessories. Expressiva has your nursing needs covered, literally. One of the reasons I love Expressiva is that their prices are pretty reasonable in regards to nursing wear. They have a great selection and many different colors to choose from as well.

Expressiva Spotlight and Giveaway TopExpressiva invites their customers to use their rating system, which I found extremely helpful in deciding which size shirt to buy. The Pleated Scoop Neck that I got as a generous fit and has some great reviews from moms who’ve already worn it and tried it out. I love that!

While you can’t buy Expressiva clothes in stores, their customer service and sales departments are very on top of all their orders, plus their return policy is very mom friendly. MommyB Treats

MommyB TreatsSo yep, you heard it right, I’m gearing my site up for a few new, fun “treats”. Are you sitting down?? Okay, let’s begin!

One of my yummy vittles of blogginess, if you will, will include fun giveaways! I don’t know if I’m more excited than you, but hopefully you’ll be jumping for joy when you see these great contests. I figure, “why should I be the only one having fun with all of these great samples to try out and review?!?” So, in the “Spirit of Christmas,” (and spirit of giving in general, because believe me, if I have it my way these giveaways will be a year round addition to my blog…) let the giveaways begin.

Giveaway

Check back often for some great DVDs, learning products, and more!! Oh and I know sometimes it’s hard to let others know, but don’t forget to tell your friends all about the giveaways too, it’s nice to share and remember, Santa knows when you’ve been good AND bad, so be good for goodness sake!

PSSSST, make sure you grab my bloggy button (if you don’t already have it,) for the contests and of course because it’s ever so cute anyway!

Also on the tasty train are a bunch of spotlights featuring some fun businesses. What’s the difference between a review and a spotlight you ask? (Okay well maybe you didn’t ask but, I’d like to clarify for future reference.) A review is my opinion of a product or service, after doing some thoughtful research and testing products out, sometimes with a little help from my amazing, wonderful amazingly, wonderful family. These opinions are based on how I thought the product or service performed and, wanting to give my readers a true idea of the product rather than writing what a company would like me to write. So, in short, when reading my reviews please know that you may see some comments that are not “touting” the item if I don’t feel it’s “tout worthy.” You get the real deal.  Now to the spotlight part. While I love doing reviews sometimes there isn’t enough to write about a product, or I think that the background behind the product is very worthy of it’s own post. Thus, born my product and services spotlights. Basically, “just the facts ma’am.” So there you have it in a very, very large nutshell, maybe even a giant clam shell, which can grow up to 4 feet long, (put that in your memory banks!)

Your Ad HereMy last tidbit for those businesses out there is that I am now offering premium ad space on my blog. If you peek over to my right sidebar you’ll see a section designed to showcase your business for MommyB Knows Best readers. If you’re interested in finding out more about this desirable ad space please click here: PR Welcome or select my PR Welcome tab.

I’d love to hear any other ideas you may have for my blog, as the new year is upon us I love to enhance MommyB Knows Best as much as I can.
