Meet Stella & Dot, if you haven’t already. You may have heard of Stella & Dot, have a friend who knows a consultant, or even own a few pieces of their jewelry yourself. But how much do you really know about the behind-the-scenes details of this company?
Do you know that Stella & Dot was founded by, Jessica Herrin, a mom of two girls, and that Stella & Dot was first called Luxe Jewels back then? Did you know that Jessica made the jewelry in her own home and started selling with trunk shows? {Like so many moms today!} Have you heard about the Stella & Dot Foundation, where Stella & Dot give proceeds from some of their jewelry to three different charities helping empower women and girls? Well now you know!
Stella & Dot do so many great things for women alike and they’re also manufacturing and selling some pretty fun pieces of jewelry too. After speaking with Stella & Dot Stylist, Erica Burton, I looked through their extensive catalog and so many pretty pieces jumped out at me because they were flirty, and different from what I see in the stores. I ended up choosing a set of clover earrings and a beautiful clover key necklace to wear and review and loved them both. When they first arrived I got a sweet treat because they were packaged in some of the cutest packaging I’ve received to date, and I’ve gotten a lot of packages! The cute designs, fun comments, and great reusable packaging was a great first impression on me.
The Signature Clover Chandelier Earrings were an item I HAD to have. Although I haven’t had a night out since Baby C was born I know those evenings are coming soon, and these earrings scream, “night with the girls” to me. They’re lightweight enough not to pull on my ears, while still being solid and not flimsy in quality. I love both the look and the feel of these earrings!
The other great piece of Stella & Dot jewelry that I received is this beautiful Clover Key Necklace that comes with a black metal chain, very unique, and a great, sparkly, key pendant with black and white Cubic Zirconia. I wear it solo, but it’s definitely a piece you could layer longer and shorter necklaces with. I heart key necklaces in general and this one has a little extra flare so I was excited to see it in person and it didn’t disappoint!
I’m typically a little more frugal with my jewelry purchases, {since again I don’t go out much these days}, however by wearing these pieces, especially the necklace I could tell they had great craftsmanship and high quality, so I’d definitely feel comfortable “splurging” {for me} (at $49 and $59) on Stella & Dot or even asking for pieces for gifts. *hint, hint*
Overall, I really LOVED a lot of Stella & Dot’s collection from earrings, to charms, or necklaces and more. Plus, they offer fun children’s jewelry that you could even pair with some of the “mommy” jewelry. Not to mention that a lot of celebs are wearing pieces from the Stella & Dot collection as well, so if you’re a trendy person, or one who likes to have fun, beautiful accessories I encourage you to check out Erica’s site and pick up a few pieces.
