Starbucks Refreshers – A Great Morning Pick-Me-Up

September 19, 2012 6 Comments »

Have you heard of the new Starbucks Refreshers drinks? They’re a sort of sparkling juice energy drink made from the latest caffeine craze, green coffee. Each drink contains vitamins, antioxidants and is less than 100 calories per can, a mom’s best friend??

I tried all three Sparkling Beverages {they also offer handcrafted versions at your local Starbucks, and a take-and-make powder version as well}. This version comes in three flavors, Strawberry Lemonade, Raspberry Pomegranate, and Orange Melon.

My take: I must admit, I am not an orange flavor lover, whether it’s in chocolate, desserts or drinks, it actually wasn’t half bad, however my favorite of the three was the Strawberry Lemonade. I love a lemonade that’s not too sweet and not too sour and this definitely hit the spot. I could also feel the energy boost I got from drinking just a little bit of the Refresher, on ice of course.

In case you’re wondering, no it doesn’t taste like coffee, for those of you who aren’t a fan of coffee but still want to get your caffeine fix.

Each beverage is a sparkling, delicious boost of natural energy from Green Coffee Extract you can enjoy anytime. With real fruit juice, B vitamins, ginseng, antioxidants from vitamin C and only 60 calories per can, it’s a pick-me-up you can feel good about.

So, which Starbucks Refresher do you think you would like the most? Strawberry Lemonade, Raspberry Pomegranate, or Orange Melon?

This is a sponsored post, produced in collaboration with Bliss and Starbucks. I received a Starbucks Refreshers sample to review. The opinions shared in this post are my own.
