Refueling with MommyB

September 11, 2012 6 Comments »

For me some days go by so fast it’s just a blur, with two beautiful little girls to care for, a home to keep clean and orderly, a husband to love and nurture, several websites to maintain, and everything else that comes with being a work-at-home-mom. That’s not how I want to live my life though, just rushing through the day to get to the next.

That’s why it’s super important for me to have moments throughout my day where I refuel. Some days it’s taking a few minutes, while the girls are working on an art project to hop on Pinterest or play a game on my phone, or sometimes it’s catching up with on my DVR during Lil’ C’s naptime, and on the weekends, if I’m lucky enough, I refuel by getting a few extra zzz’s while hubby watches the girls. Really anything that is down-time for me is refueling because I’m usually set to high-speed when it comes to everything else, it’s nice to just take a minute to relax, recoup, and refuel.

Another great way to refuel is with Starbucks Refreshers. Each beverage is a sparkling, delicious boost of natural energy from Green Coffee Extract you can enjoy anytime. With real fruit juice, B vitamins, ginseng, antioxidants from vitamin C and only 60 calories per can, it’s a pick-me-up you can feel good about.

I’d love to hear about how you refuel. Leave me a comment below!!

This is a sponsored post, produced in collaboration with Bliss and Starbucks. I received a Starbucks Refreshers sample to review. The opinions shared in this post are my own.

I usually refuel with a catnap, but lately my LOs have not been sleeping at the same time! YIKES so for now it is coffee!

I completely hear you! Mine are on and off with sleep. Just today I took an accidental catnap on the couch during my LO’s nap. Luckily I woke up in time to go get Miss A from school.

That’s such a cute picture of you!
I know what you mean about the day being a blur. I feel like I just start my day and then it’s time to do it all over again. My grandsons keep me BUSY!

I like to re-fuel by just being lazy around the house and not do any house work. Relax and stay in my pjs all day. :)
