I’m so into oral hygiene, so when I got the chance to review the RADIUS Intelligent Toothbrush I was super excited. Immediately I thought this was a really cool looking toothbrush, unlike anything I’d really seen, not that I’ve scoured the internet or stores for awesome looking toothbrushes, but still.
I noticed the large brush head that has about three times the amount of bristles than an ordinary toothbrush. I didn’t really know how much toothpaste to put on, but continued to just put what I would normally put on my brush on the RADIUS. I could see people using too much toothpaste though after a while.
Let me tell you a few more things about this great product. Not only is it great because the handle lasts “forever,” and you only need to replace the brush head, but it’s also just as the name suggests, Intelligent. This toothbrush helps you get the maximized usage by making sure you brush for the recommended 2 minutes, it even breaks up the four quadrants in your mouth and beeps every 30 seconds! After 180 uses the green light turns to red to let you know that you need a new brush head. Love it!!
After finishing, I did notice that there was no way this brush was fitting in my toothbrush holder, as I’m sure most people will notice also. In an effort to combat that issue RADIUS does have a toothbrush case that you can buy separately. It didn’t bother me much, but if you’re a person who MUST have your brush in the holder then you may need to rethink purchasing this one.
This toothbrush is about 10 times less expensive than my Sonicare, that being said I feel like I get a better brush from my “power toothbrush” and have all of the same functions, (the timer and replaceable head.) But if you’re looking for a cheaper alternative then RADIUS makes some fun looking, awesome bristled brushes for you!
