New Beginnings Review and Giveaway {Closed}

NewBeginnings-logoFrom Old School to New School, the memories are flooding back. It seems like everything I watched, or played with when I was a child is coming back into style. From Strawberry Shortcake the television show to the plush Care Bear Dolls, I’m in a total a blast from the past. Anyone else feel that way?

New Beginnings is a company after my own heart, or at least my preschool heart. I used to love my pull-toys and take them with me where ever I went, neither rain, nor sleet would separate us and while I don’t have any pictures of me and my favorite buddies, here is a picture of two of two of them, (these are not photos of the actual toys because, well I’m sure they’ve turned to dust after this many years :) .)

pull toys

New Beginnings has come up with three cute ride-on toys complete with a lil’ pull-along pal. Three words came to mind when I thought about this great toy from New Beginnings, they were cute, sturdy, and old school. First off, the names of these oh-so-adorable ride-ons are the giraffes: Beanstalk and Lil’ Sprout, the horses: Apple and Lil’ Dumplin’ and the elephants: Trunk and Lil’ Squirt. Just by the names alone I want to buy them all!

New Beginnings

010We got to try out Beanstalk and Lil’ Sprout and Miss A couldn’t wait for me to untie all of the security twisties to get her 3 year-old hands on these guys! Now keep in mind Miss A is at the 95% for both height and weight, so she’s not your average 3 year old, but nonetheless Beanstalk’s back was in tact after several rides around the house. Although I did have to laugh because all I kept thinking was, “fat guy in a little coat,” from the movie, Tommy Boy. (If you haven’t seen the movie it’s hilarious, but that’s another review.)

New Beginnings ride on toys are recommended for children ages 1 to 3, and I think it really depends on your child because I know younger and older children that would have fun with these guys, but please use your discretion when purchasing. Even though some children may be too big or too small to ride the toys dollies make good riders, and Miss A loved pulling Lil’ Sprout around the house just by himself. I would recommend this toy to all my friends, it’s such a simple, timeless, toy and there are so many ways to play with it.

Wanna find out where to buy yours? Check out New Beginning’s website here: http://www.worldofnewbeginnings.com/ or go to their Twitter: http://twitter.com/worldofnb all three toys will be on shelves mid August to the beginning of September so keep your eyes peeled so you can get yours first.
