My Medifast Progress – Week 7

What a week!! Remember how I just got over the flu, this week I finally stopped coughing {as much}, but on Friday Lil’ C started getting sick again, and then Saturday night Miss A started feeling a little sick and we ended up having two sick kiddos yesterday.

Lil’ C is miserable when she’s sick and we’ve already determined that her pain threshold is very low {while combing hair, when she’s sick etc}. Needless to say that makes for a very stressful time, add that to the fact that she hasn’t been napping since we gave up paci last Saturday, and hubby’s late work schedule lately. Mommy needs a break. Instead of turning to food to calm me I’ve been trying to relax by reading my Bible and other books, but I have to admit one day I broke down and make some cookies for the girls and myself. Combating the mental issues I have with food are going to be harder than my physical desire for flavorful/bad foods, I can already see this now.

But I’m a work in progress right?? Because I haven’t been on plan like I should be or want to be or have to be to lose this weight my results show that and it just encourages me to want to do better this week. So far I’ve been on plan when it comes to my foods, but this morning I had a 4:am wake up call and I have drank approximately 0 drops of water. My goal is to get my girls feeling better and de-stress more often throughout the day. It’s hard to focus on myself when I have little ones to take care of and that’s a part of my life that won’t ever change {although someday my little ones will become my big ones}. So I need to find a way to work around those obstacles. If you have any suggestions that are a good fit I’d love to hear them.

Here’s my progress for this week:

Beginning Weight: 168.5 lbs Weight
Gained This Week: +2 lbs {starting this week at 156 lbs}
Weight Lost Total: -10.5 lbs
Current weight: 158 lbs
My First Goal: -33 lbs/135.5 lbs {since I’m 33, I thought that was appropriate}
My Final Goal: -16.5 lbs/119 lbs {half of 33}

Check out my thoughts on the Medifast Foods I’ve tried so far:
