I would consider myself a pretty decent cook and I am great at following recipes and making them my own. Most of the time with two little girls, one, soon to be two websites (that’s another post in itself), housework, errands, Miss A’s activities and being always on the go, I don’t always have time to make something spectacular. So I decided to write a post about MommyB Knows Best’s Fake Recipes or Fecipes. Recipes that aren’t quite recipes, rather just a couple of things thrown together to make something decent to munch on. Check out my first Fecipe:
Granogurt
1 container or if you have the really BIG container about 4 tablespoons or so of Chobani Strawberry Greek Yogurt – Chobani is my all time favorite and has real fruit bits.
2.5 tablespoons of Bear Naked Fruit and Nut granola
Fresh strawberries, as many as you want!!
Mix and devour! This Granogurt makes for a hearty breakfast and is super simple for on-the-go parents!
Yum Yum Yum!
*Mix more or less of each Yogurt or Granola depending on your taste
*Try it with different fresh fruits, I suggest pineapple!
Do you have a Fecipe? What is it??

OMG this is my exact breakfast most days! Brands and everything
We must be made for each other
Very cool though!
Fecipes — what a genius word. Please post lots more of these!
Thanks Amy, hubby said it should be easy recipes but I told him ecipes would just be weird *LOL* I like Fecipes, it sounds like a food confession and thanks for stopping by
Mmmm…this sounds SO good! You should share this in two weeks (and any other recipes you have) on my monthly recipe link-up!
Thanks for the invite, that sounds good I’ll be looking for the link-up on SMMs (otherwise I’ll probably forget)
I do the same thing! But there is a name for it now! Sweet. We use either blueberries or strawberries
Ooooh blueberries, love the wild ones fresh from the farmers market!!
Sounds delish! I love parfaits, I also use honey bunches of oats as the granola. I love the “fecipes” I have lots of those too- also raised two girls that were very busy
I love that breakfast, reminds me I need to go buy some yogurt. Another tip is to use Kashi Go Lean Crunch cereal instead of Granola.
YUM!!! I wish that I had some at 3 am.
