You may have seen on my posts, Twitter or Facebook that I’m getting ready for a MommyB Knows Best redesign/relaunch. I’m sure some of you are wondering, “How long does it take for a redesign anyway?” Some days I wonder that myself.
I am very lucky however that I don’t have to pay for my design or even attempt to update my blog on my own, (if that were the case you’d be staring at mauve for at least 10 years) my awesome hubby, while not a “designer” by trade has been great with teaching himself code aka the back end of blogging and so graciously volunteered several hours to work on my blog in conjunction with his own blog redesign and posting on a couple of blogs all after coming home from his full-time job.I would never rush his work, not wanting him to go insane and not wanting my blog to be a burden, so I wait, mostly patiently for the process. Not to mention that we’ve changed my blog colors at least 5 times, no kidding, and trying to add some fun new features as well that I’ll get into more once the blog is relaunched.
Last night, I decided that I wanted to put a date on my relaunch however, to make it a little more special and get me motivated and excited at the same time. Since we’ve been working on this since before my birthday, December 6th, I decided that February 14th looks like a good day, it’s coming up, not too far away but not tomorrow, and this entire project has been a labor of LOVE, so to me Valentine’s Day seemed appropriate. Plus, maybe some of you will be in an extra lovey-dovey mood and want to give me lots of comment love and tell me how much you enjoy the new look and features.
So, I, MommyB, do hear-by proclaim Valentine’s Day, February 14th, 2011, to be the day I shall present MommyBKnowsBest.com to the world in all her new, splendiferious glory! I hope you’ll join me!

What an awesome husband! I keep saying that I’m going to learn how to code, etc. but there’s so much time in a day and so many brain cells in my brain. I end up paying or someone takes pity on me. Looking forward to the new design!
