MommyBKnowsBest on: Changes #vlogmom

vlogmom-new-logoLately, I’ve really been thinking about life in general. Ooooh deep I know!! But seriously though, I’ve been meeting some great people, reading some awesome books, and really trying to figure out what I want to take away from this short life.

Here’s this week’s #vlogmom prompt/question and my answer:

I think sometimes we need to reflect, and see where our priorities are and if our time is being well-spent. In my life, I’ve been so blessed and want to make sure that I give to those less fortunate, raise my girls with love and enjoy as many moments as possible, be a good wife, be and have great friends, read my Bible and grow closer to God, be healthy inside and out and it starts with diet and exercise.

Some of these changes have been slowly happening and some I’m just getting started on, but I’m excited for good changes and have already had some great confirmations that this is the right direction for my life. I feel like whatever changes you have to make, whether they are similar to mine or completely opposite, we have to really make this life worth living.

I’m excited to use my blog to share whatever goodness is going on in life and will be giving you an update about my Red Cross service day soon too!

I hope if nothing else my video makes you think about what leaf or leaves you want to turn over and what changes you want to make in your life and inspire you to go for them!

Make sure you check out these other videos from #vlogmom vloggers too!!

MommyB presents: Graduate Advice – #Vlogmom

#vlogmomMiss A turned 6 years old on Saturday and will celebrate the last day of her Kindergarten year this Friday! As she graduates from Kindergarten I flash forward to her high school graduation day in 2025…what?!?! That sounds really far away, but I know it’ll be here before we know it.

I’m sure when she graduates I’ll have tons of advice for her and be praying non-stop for her guidance and direction for going out into the “real world”. In the meantime, I thought I would give some advice to those who are graduating now, nothing profound, and I’m sure just as when I was graduating, I waived away most tips, but hopefully some of this resonates if not now then maybe later.

Here’s my most recent vlog with #vlogmom (about a week later due to birthday party madness):

Tell me, what advice do you have for graduates??

#Vlogmom: MommyBKnowsBest on Broadway Musicals

#vlogmom Hooray, I’m back to vlogging!!! While I’ll admit it’s a rough reentry, I tried to have fun with this week’s #vlogmom prompt. I hope you enjoy it, and leave your responses in the comments so I can hear what you have to say about Broadway Musicals.

#Vlogmom: How I Met Your Father

Better late than never, here I am posting my vlogmom video for this week. I had the video done earlier in the week, but no time to edit until today. I hope you’ve been enjoying my posts this week and I know, or at least you can humor me, that you’ll love this video too.

I brought out my silly side this week answering Alyssa from Clever Compass‘ question: How did you meet your husband??

Here’s my response:

I really love hearing about people’s, “How I met” stories, so I hope if you don’t video yourself you will at least leave a comment of how it all went down!!

#vlogmom MommyBKnowsBest on: Reunited and it Feels So…

#vlogmomI’m back! You know you missed me! Maybe a little… after a short-ish hiatus, I am back to vlogging with the awesome ladies of #vlogmom. I missed some amazing weeks of vlogs, but now that I am getting into the flow of my new schedule, now that Miss A is in Kindergarten and Lil’ C and I have more activities, I am back on the train, {at least for this week}.

This week’s question comes from the lovely Rajean of the blog: B Cause I Said So.

Here we go….

Thanks for watching!!! Can’t wait to read your comments. Also make sure you check out the posts below from my lovely #vlogmoms and visit

#vlogmom MommyBKnowsBest on: Home is Where My Stomach Is – Favorite Restaurants

Hello friends!!! I’m excited to be back with another #vlogmom post. I was sad that I didn’t have time to answer last week’s question of what my ideal birthday would be like. Especially since, having a December birthday I often don’t get to celebrate as big as someone who is born in September…I have on occasion thought about doing a half birthday party instead. But I have been blessed with awesome family and friends that make my birthday special even though it shares a month with a couple other holidays and lots of vacation out of town.

This week’s question comes from Jendi of Jendi’s Journal, a vlogess herself if I do say so myself. Definitely lots of lessons to be learned from this lady when it comes to vlogging. Anyway…here’s her question…and my answer!!!

Tag, you’re it! Tell me what restaurant(s) do you love, but are out of reach. Can’t wait to hear them and while you’re here make sure you check out these fab vloggers and their answer to this week’s #vlogmom question:

#vlogmom MommyBKnowsBest on: A Chilly Tour – What’s in MY Fridge??

#vlogmomHey guys! How was your 4th of July?!?! We had a great mini vacation with my in-laws and enjoyed some fireworks in our own backyard.

I hope the summer is treating you well and I want to thank you for stopping by even though I know these hot months are filled with fun and activities! I appreciate you!!

Here’s a little something to cool you off {vicariously of course}: A tour of my fridge.

Dresden from  asks this week’s vlogmom question: What’s in your fridge????

Mine was actually mostly empty because of above mentioned vacation, so yes I did stock up, but only on things we normally eat {except the cherries, I thought they would be nice to try}. Here’s my video and I’ll list some of the products I pointed out after the video, not because I’m getting paid, but because they’re yummy and you should try them too!!

Trop50 – Made by Tropicana, Blueberries – Made by God, Stonewall Kitchen Cilantro Lime Dressing – EarthFare, Kalamata Olives + Artichokes = Deliciousness, Chobani Yogurt – any  kind really, here’s a link to my Chobani Fecipe, Butter – See next to Paula Deen in the Dictionary, Kansas Style BBQ sauce – Made by Wholesome Goodness, and feel free to ask if I missed anything too!!

Make sure you check out these other fridges and freezers:

Anyway I’m back into the vlogging thing this week, even though my video is a little choppy, kids in the background etc, I hope you’ll forgive me!!!

This week’s question comes from Hillary over at Check her out and here’s the question and my answer:

So how about you? What are your blogging conference tips?
