MommyBKnowsBest on: To Be A Television Star #vlogmom

#vlogmom Wow this week’s #vlogmom post came very quickly. I’ve been working on an awesome project that hopefully I’ll be able to share even more details with you next month, plus being a mommy and wife too. So excuse my tardiness for posting this a little later in the day that I usually do.

This week was MY QUESTION, which of course I HAD to answer, and it was, “What television show would you like to be a guest on.” Automatically my mind went to talk shows, I’m not sure why and the fact that I’m a huge fan of this lady anyway. Check my answer out:

I love Bethenny Frankel, so excited about her new show, check out her website for more details and updates: and who knows, maybe some day I will be a guest on her show, how awesome would that be?!?!?

Now tell me, What television show would YOU like to be a guest on???

Thanks again for stopping by this week and remember to check out these other fun answers listed below and check us out on

#vlogmomHowdy readers!!! Today is #vlogmom post day, so you get to see my beautiful face. Although this time it’s a little bit of a tired face, all my activities and work is catching up with my body and I’m just a little worn out, so please forgive this time around. I do hope you enjoy though because this week’s question comes from Desiree over at “What’s your best therapy–the thing that keeps you sane?” And here’s my answer:

I wanna know: What keeps you sane???

Make sure you take a minute to check out these other answers too, I know I’m going to!!

MommyBKnowsBest on: Being a Fraidy Cat #vlogmom

#vlogmomAre you brave or fearful? Amy B. Hodges, a fellow member of #vlogmom and blogger at asks this week’s vlog question: “What’s the last thing you did that scared you? (either it scared you and you did it anyway, or you did something and it unexpectedly scared you).”

Now I have had a lot of serious and silly scares in my life. My first scare that I remember was my house fire when I was 5, and my first memories, even to this day definitely one of the scariest moments in my life. I also used to be afraid that I would be the recipient of an immaculate conception and no one would believe me, hilarious I know. My friends and I used to watch scary movies and freak ourselves out. I’ve been in several small and near-miss automobile accidents, all equally scary. However this week’s question is based on what the most recent scare was, so here it is…you may want to grab your blankie!!

MommyBKnowsBest on: Favorite Must-Bring Books #vlogmom

Hey guys, after a week off from politics and a sick week last week {meaning I could barely talk and had an ear infection} I am back with #vlogmom!

This week’s question comes from from Candice at she’s pretty awesome, so you should check her out!!

The question of the week for #vlogmom is:

If you were stranded on a deserted island what 3 books would you want with you? Here are my answers:

1. My Bible

2. Any CS Lewis Book but in particular, The Screwtape Letters

3. Any Babysitters Club books (insert laugh here) or Great Expectations – I know it’s not a good tie up but it just happened that way 🙂

Now I want to know: If you were stranded on a desert island what 3 books would you want to have with you?

MommyB on: Celebriends aka Celebrity Friends

Two weeks ago I started vlogging again with an awesome group of mommas, who make up #vlogmom (we had to go with the singular version for legal reasons) but we are moms aplenty.

Each week I’ll be answering a question on my site from one of the bloggers, it could be funny, serious, or none of the above. I love it because it gives me a different outlet and even though I do have to use a Hello Kitty Microphone {since my internal microphone is non-existent} I really like you all being able to see a different side of me.

This weeks #vlogmom question comes from Rachel of, “”: “If you could be friends and hang out with one celebrity, who would it be and why?”

Here’s my answer:

Also make sure you check out all of the other great answers in the linky here:

MommyB on: Things That Make Me go, “Ha”

Hi everyone, so I’m trying something new this week. I came across a bunch of amazing bloggers and friends who are collaborating on an amazing video blog hop. It’s been quite a few months since I’ve vlogged and honestly I’ve missed it and they were kind enough to let me join them.

Each week I’ll be answering a question on my site and it can be anything from my favorite celebrity to where would I live in the world if I had my pick. I thought it would be a great way to connect with you all on a more personal level and allow you to see a different side of me.

This weeks #vlogmom question comes from Rajean of, “Because I said So”: “What or who makes you giggle? Share what or who makes you laugh out loud – something that recently made you do this (a joke, TV show skit, scene in a movie, reading something, hearing something from your kids/family?)”

Here’s my answer:

Make sure you check out these awesome ladies and their answers to this week’s #vlogmom question and add yours too!

MommyB’s Q-Vids Birthday Bash Edition

Hello there readers!! I’m so sorry that I haven’t kept up with my Q-Vids, I really did have the best of intentions, however life happened. I did however decide to do a quick Q-Vid in honor of my Birthday Bash that I’m hosting on my site this month. I hope you like the question, I can’t wait to hear your answers!

My Answer? My favorite birthday party was when I turned 11, I got to have lunch and watch a movie with a friend and then walk to the bowling alley to have my party. I felt like such a big kid being able to hang out with my friend without my mom and there were so many parts of that day that were so special to me including my usual homemade cake. My mom was always really great at making my birthday special and fun and I hope to do that for my children as well.

MommyB’s Q-Vids Week #3

Thanks everyone for your responses to last week’s question: “What is one piece of advice you’d give to new or expecting parents.” I loved all the great comments, and know that my soon-to-be parents will too. My favorites were from Andrea and Tina.

Andrea says a lot to the effect that no matter how much you prepare you just don’t know how things will go, and I love her advice to “Take each day as it comes, accept all the help that is offered to you and don’t sweat the small stuff!”

And I loved Tina’s comment because she talks about the fact that our children just know that we’re doing the best, not that we didn’t use a wipes warmer or swaddle them just right. “When I couldn’t figure out what it was he wanted, he wasn’t thinking to himself, ““Sheesh, can I get a refund?”” No, the most important thing was that he knew he was loved and that his mama was trying her hardest to give him exactly what he needed. That love permeated through him and because of that, there was no way I could fail him.”

This week’s question is a little more intrusive and I hope that encourages more people to participate, I can’t wait to read what you have to say, so here goes…..

MommyB’s Q-Vids Week #2

Thanks to everyone who commented on my first Q-Vid, again sorry for the missed post last week, it seems like at least one of every member of the “B” Family has been sick for the past 3 weeks, hope your families are staying healthy at least.

I’m excited to hear what you all have to say in response to this week’s question, so let’s get to it…press play and comment and I’ll be checking back to see what your thoughts are.

Thanks again for watching, and being so supportive, and don’t forget I’ll be highlighting a few of my favorite comments in the next Q-Vid segement.
