Moms – Work from Home with Juice in the City

Juice In the City Ad

Juice In the City AdWhether you are a stay-at-home mom looking for some extra income, a traditional working mom wanting to transition to at home, or a work-at-home mom who’s a little crazy and wants to add more to your plate a job where you can work from the comfort of your own home is one that is hard to find.

I’m sure if you’re like me you’ve seen the cold calling, dictation, secret shopper jobs available to moms. If you’ve found one that’s an actual job and not just a sketchy ad trying to get you to pay them for jobs you’ll find that some, not all of them are flexible, some require that you have some office time, or they just weren’t what you expected.

If you are looking for something different where you can be the mom you want to be and work too then I HAVE to share Juice in the City with you. I can tell you from first hand experience because I work for Juice in the City Charlotte. If you are a regular reader you’ll see that my posts are honest and my true feelings so you know that in touting Juice in the City I really stand behind the company and what they do, otherwise I wouldn’t waste my time, or yours. Juice in the City LogoHaven’t heard of Juice in the City? Well that’s a shame! I just recently made some great connections with Juice in the City and can tell you it’s worlds different than the other discount/coupon sites out there. Juice in the City Charlotte launches today! And being a Charlotte resident I couldn’t be happier.

Now I don’t know about you, but I LOVE giving back when it comes to community. Juice in the City not only works with local businesses to give companies more exposure, but they’re also using Local Business Consultants aka moms like you and me, who’ve tried out products and services and can attest for the quality. So when I buy coupons from Juice in the City I know I’m getting a great deal for good products and services.

Today’s featured “Juicy Deal” for my local area, Charlotte, is half off at Big Daddy’s Burger Bar so you purchase $20 worth of yummy food for just $10! Most of their burgers are under $10 so you can get a meal for you and a burger buddy! Also, be sure to read the box on the left hand side, this section will let you know when the deal expires, and how to use your discount in the best way.

Handfuls Handprints Review Part II

Handful's Handprints Part IISome of you may have read my Handfuls Handprints Review Part I and if not feel free to click on the link and check it out. Basically, Handfuls is a wonderful handcrafted impression “company” that imprints anyone’s hand or foot print using very fine techniques creating an amazing keepsake.

When we went to pick up our piece Little Miss A was super excited because she though she was doing the imprinting process again. I must confess I loved the process too. Jenny Bertleson, the owner of Handfuls Handprints was very gentle and sweet and made the imprints fun. Read More

We Love Chick-fil-A

For those of you who regularly frequent Chick-fil-A with or without your families I don’t have to tell you how amazing this fast food restaurant is. In my opinion, and until I am corrected, this is the top family fast food joint offering customer service, kid friendliness, and tasty food high above other fast food standards.

Chick-fil-A is the only fast food restaurant where I’m greeted and my order is taken in a very polite manner. Occasionally I’ll get a, “How are you,” or a “Please pull up” at other ff restaurants but typically I’m just glad if I get a glum, “Can I take your order.”
Now aside from their friendliness this joint is amazing if you have kids. This is the only fast food that I know of that gives you disposable place mats, bendy straws, and allows the kids to trade their toy for ice cream. On several occasions when dining in we’ve had servers help by brining food to our table and even getting items like high chairs, and silverware for our table instead of staring at us while we struggle like most fast food restaurants. Just that in itself amazes me.
Also on the kid front I love that Chick-fil-A is so involved in the community offering several activities monthly for families.
Now while I’m not always in the mood for chicken, (sorry Chick-fil-A cows,) when I am I do love their fried chicken and the fact that it’s white meat. Maybe not the healthiest lunch but very tasty. I appreciate the reduced fat milk and fruit cup choices for the kids meals.
I love Sunday’s but I do have my sad moments when I realize that Chick-Fil-A is closed 🙁
So thank you Chick-fil-A for being kid friendly, community friendly, tummy friendly, and just generally friendly!
