Canvas People’s Awesome Prints

Canvas People LogoWhen I was in school my mom would make a spot on our livingroom wall for each school year’s photo to go. Soon between my brother and my pictures, as you can imagine, one entire wall filled up. I loved that my mom showed how proud of us she was through putting our pictures up on her wall, maybe that’s why I have pictures of my own family proudly displayed in my own home.

I’ll admit I’m not the greatest at printing out new pictures, but each year Miss A and Baby C get their pictures taken around their birthdays and I do put those on our mantle. At Christmas time we had some pictures of the four of us taken professionally for the first time in Baby C’s 1.5 year life. (We have some from our own camera, but not from a professional shoot.) The pictures turned out great and surprisingly everyone was smiling, which even in a family of four can be challenging.

I am so glad that I was able to work with Canvas People on creating a fun canvas print with one of my Christmas pictures. I have not owned a print like this before and don’t know too many people who do, I think often times people think that canvas prints are extremely expensive, which sometimes they can be, but Canvas People really make it much more affordable.

Here is my mantle showing off my canvas in the lower right hand side. {See my cute girls in red???}

I loved the way the texture turned out and the quality was great too, it matched my original photo exactly. The canvas shipped quickly and it was packaged nicely so there was no shipping damage. My only complaint about the canvas is that there were two blue pen markings on the sides of the canvas for fitting purposes I’m assuming. You can’t see them unless you’re up close, but a little annoying because they are visible. They are around an inch or so in size:Canvas People Blue Ink 2

A professional photographer may have a trick to remove these, but I have no clue so I’d rather just leave them be and not mess up the entire canvas. Overall I’m pleased with our print, it looks great on our mantle and is a fun piece. I think an even bigger size would be great too. Check out Canvas People’s prints starting at $24.99. They’re always promoting and emailing great deals too!!

Do you like displaying pictures of your family? Where in your home do you show off most of your pictures??

    What a beautiful family picture. I have pics all over, I love pictures of my family. I always took professional pics at milestone ages and at 16 yrs old we did a big photoshoot of the girls and got a 16×20. The halls have collages and I don’t have a wall that doesn’t have a picture. I’m obsessed..lol

    I love your family portraits. Beautiful.

    We have a wall with a bunch (like, 50) of little framed photos, some family, some artwork, some just silly postcards or photos of places we’ve been. I’ve never had the confidence to have any of my photos enlarged beyond a 5 x 7.

    I did have a large canvas enlargement made of one of my niece’s newborn photos, as a gift to her parents. Love it! They are really cool.
